What’s Coming Up Across Praxity

Praxity’s conference programme remains a cornerstone of the Alliance, bringing firms together to exchange insight, strengthen relationships and stay ahead of evolving client and regulatory demands.

With the Dublin conference having just taken place as this issue goes to print, attention now turns to a busy upcoming schedule of global and regional gatherings designed to maintain that momentum.

Spotlight: Launch of the European NextGen Conference

The standout development in the calendar is the introduction of the European NextGen Conference. This is a new initiative designed to strengthen relationships among the Alliance’s future leaders.

Taking place in Bonn early August and hosted by FGS in collaboration with Praxity, the conference marks a deliberate investment in building connections earlier in careers. It is hoped that this will ensure that collaboration across firms is embedded long before individuals reach senior leadership roles.

A targeted approach to future talent

The conference is aimed at senior associates and managers, particularly those who have recently qualified and are beginning to take on more operational responsibility. By focusing on this cohort, many of whom are in the early years post-qualification, the programme is designed to ensure participants can contribute meaningfully while also benefiting from peer exchange across borders.

With a primary focus on audit professionals, the initiative reflects the importance of early-stage collaboration in an increasingly complex, international audit environment.

Blending learning and relationship-building

The format balances structured sessions with informal networking, recognising that strong professional relationships are built as much outside the conference room as within it:

  • Welcome experience: A Bonn city tour followed by a networking dinner
  • Core programme: Interactive sessions on digitalisation, tools and cross-border audit collaboration
  • Closing event: A farewell dinner and social programme in Cologne

The optional involvement of partners also creates an additional layer of connection between current and future leaders, helping to reinforce continuity across the Alliance.

Registration for this event will hopefully open in June but you haven’t already you can fill out an expression of interest form

What Else Is Coming Up

After Dublin’s Global Tax conference, the calendar moves quickly into a full run of conferences across regions and service lines. The European NextGen Conference in Bonn (6–7 August) is the immediate focus, before attention shifts to the autumn programme. In September, the UK & Ireland Autumn Conference in Coventry (16–17 September) brings a broader mix of attendees to Ansty Hall, with a stronger emphasis on younger professionals and working group discussions aligned to specific technical areas. This is followed by Praxity’s flagship Global Leadership Conference in Malta (11–14 October), where Managing Partners and senior representatives will gather to discuss key industry developments and strategic pr programme then moves to North America, with the International Tax Conference in Houston (11–13 November). The established format continues, opening with a pre-conference day that runs parallel bootcamp sessions for emerging professionals alongside a technical track for more experienced attendees, before moving into two days of plenary and breakout sessions supported by external keynote speakers.

Registration for Global & NA Tax and the UK will open over the Summer.
