The Praxity UK & Ireland Conference Returns

Delegates gathered in Coventry to share strategic approaches to a changing environment.

The Praxity UK & Ireland Conference returned in March 2025, bringing Alliance firm leaders together to explore an ever-changing landscape. The event took place at the historic and award-winning Ansty Hall, near Coventry in the English Midlands.

Aimed at Partner and Director level, the one-day conference offered a fresh and exciting program, taking the theme of Future-Proofing Accountancy: Shaping Tomorrow’s Firms Today. Delegates explored the dynamic challenges that meet the industry, using their joint experience and knowledge to work together on their approaches to them.

With 61 delegates from Praxity member firms across the UK and Ireland as well as USA and Germany, all were keen to discuss the themes of collaboration, innovation and business survival, with both formal sessions and informal networking allowing experts to deepen their Alliance connections.

The conference saw a keynote speech from the writer, speaker and educator Andy Cope, co-author of the book The Art of Being Brilliant. His work explores the transformation from what he calls “average mode” into getting the very best work from yourself and your teams.

Through his organisation Art of Brilliance, he offers training, strategy and motivational tools, and he shared his approach to this with an audience of rapt delegates.

The conference also saw a keynote speech from Jo Mousley of MPD, and Helen Clayton, Managing Partner of PM+M, who both explored themes of resilience, agility and maximising performance through collaboration. In Helen Clayton’s case, she spoke about her first year as Managing Partner, with the successes of the firm, the challenges she faced, and how the firm is working to overcome them. The agenda also saw delegates sharing case studies and their analysis, allowing best practice along several business lines to take shape.
